Navratri is an Indian festival celebrated over nine nights in reverence to the divine feminine. While the Navratri celebrated in the month of September-October (Sharad Navaratri) is the more popular Navratri, the one celebrated in the month of March-April (Vasant Navaratri) has its own special significance.
There is a certain problem with a high-agenda life. It kills all the possibility of love between two beings. The reasoning is simple. Love comes about when you meet somebody without a need-to-complete-this or need-to-complete-that. Lest your mind is too occupied with agenda to be able to be with the other person.
A friend of mine is a high-end equity analyst. On a daily basis, he meets big time entrepreneurs – the top notch of their respective fields. He asked me if I can spot an aspect that’s common between all of them? I said I can’t and asked him to answer.
I was sure he was going to mention a characteristic which makes them successful. But his answer surprised me. He said that the common thing is that, by and large, most of them live not just stressed but miserable lives. Well, so much for success and wealth. And yet we hanker after it!
